Animal Allsorts is a small Animal Rescue charity run by unpaid volunteers and based in Birmingham which rehomes unwanted, abandoned or mistreated pets around the West Midlands area.

The charities total income last year was less than £6k, the majority is used to pay vet vills with the next biggest expense being animal food.

All pets are neutered, ID microchipped to the rescue, fully vaccinated and flea & worm treated. Home checks are performed and a after-support is provided.

Why not find 3 new charities to pledge your support and pennies to, there are lots of small charities on ploink who'd love a little help :o)

Our first charity of the month for 2012 is the Odysseus Foundation. They are the only UK charity addressing the prevention and detection of breast and cervical cancer in developing countries and socially excluded communities.

All donations to them are matched in value during January, meaning that every time you donate any amount between 99p and £10 we donate exactly the same amount!

Our charity of the month for August is @cancerrecovery They help children and families to survive cancer, and show everyone how to prevent it. All donations to them are matched in value during August, meaning for every £1 you donate we donate £1 too! http://www.ploink.co.uk/charit y/cancer-recovery

How to get your donations to Rett UK doubled in value!
